So I fiddled with different options for getting the sphere to light up today and settled on embedding a small flash light into the bottom of the detachable top part of the staff. So I can still turn it off and on easily. So the “ugly” white part disappears into the bottom half of the staff for ease of transportation. I also painted the sphere but I’m still unsure how much I like it. It’s very light and o might add a few darker, more misty streaks to it.
